Waste Disposal
The final disposal service we provide is our modern landfills "Huaycoloro" and “Model of Callao.” The Landfill Huaycoloro, is strategically located in the San Antonio district, province of Huarochiri, 30 minutes from downtown Lima. This landfill has all the necessary approvals. The technical project for the landfill was developed by the School of Environmental Engineering National Engineering University in 1993.
This location has paved access and night lighting. It is implemented with its own heavy machinery, an electronic scale, that is calibrated regularly, INDECOPI services, control, communications, maintenance, dining room, administrative areas and especially well-qualified personnel for proper operation and disposal of 3,800 tons / day of solid waste that is receives from more than 25 districts of Lima.
"Huaycoloro", in the process of operation, is continuously monitored by agencies involved in caring for the environment through the Ministry of Health (DIGESA, DISA IV LE), the Attorney General's Office (Green Area), Environmental Police, Municipalities (regents and area officials of Ecological and Environment), universities and other government entities, who rate their location, operation and performance as adequate and environmentally healthy. Today, the Landfill "Huaycoloro" is considered among the best landfills in Latin America.
Landfill “Model of Callao” is on the right bank of the Rio Chillon at the height of 19 km of the road to Window. This fill is developed from the recovery of the old dump "La Cucaracha." Since 2004, PETRAMAS has been responsible for the granting of this location, receiving 2,200 tons of waste per day.
The recovery work represented a challenge for PETRAMAS SAC, but with the deployment of technology and expertise of its technicians, they were able to meet the challenge of cleaning, catering, organizing, and implementing technology until this location became "a Landfill Model."
PETRAMAS SAC has made quietly preformed work that is giving great results today. Proof of this achievement is that all customers operating in the current Landfill "Model Callao" are satisfied with our existing service and major changes implemented through the improvement. They, like former users, can attest to what the landfill was before and what is now the Landfill "Model of Callao”, which is really living up to its name.
We can say that the constitutional province of Callao now has a real landfill that meets the technical and sanitary standards which meets the needs of their people and preserves their environment.
